Have you ever ran into someone you haven’t seen in a while. Maybe at the mall or possibly in some random spot like in a park or in a different state?
And than a flood of memories come back as you remember past interactions? The conversations continues to possibly what they’re doing now and this whole time, (that is if you’re anything like me) you’re thinking, “How can I convince this person to please leave me alone?”
well this is the tale from a couple of days ago.
let’s face it, high school sucked. Nothing good came out of at all!
So to reminisce is like being mummified while still alive. a boring, long, and painful task.
however my favorite question they asked me was to recall a certain memory. I am incredibly happy to say that I didn’t nor do I remember said event. Now maybe I really wasn’t there but I hope that I was. because that would mean that I am forgetting the Hell Lehi High and it’s occupants forced on me.
ha ha ha, maybe there is hope after all!! ![]()

Most awesomest Birthday!
Sunday, October 19th, 2008 | Family | 3 Comments
Well first off, My birthday wasn’t that big of a deal to me. infact it was to the point where Janae had to remind me my birthday was coming up via text. seriously, it happened like 3 times in the same week.
but when it came it was a so much fun!
On the 16th we drove down south and started our little hike.
First off, before we left my Parents had bought me a new sleeping bag and some water shoes. the sleeping bag was this new kind of mummy bag that weighs next to nothing and is super small but rated to as low as 0 degrees F. WOW!
first night there we had a blast. We met up with Richard’s family and hited in. The scenery was rustic yet beautiful.
As we made our way in we came accross an old cabin from years ago. it was still standing but kind of on it’s last leg. well after a little while we made it to camp.
That night we made a fire and me being me, I threw a road flair in. it was awesome!
well the next morning I woke up long before the sun rose. and thought. man this is boring, when is the sun going to come up.
well after a couple of hours I started a fire. my mom shouted from her tent, “happy Birthday” which caught me off gaurd cause I forgot yet again (no cell service, Janae couldn’t remind me. Ha ha ha).
that day we headed out and than to goblin valley. it was so much fun. I need to go back there soon.
after that it was to Ding and Dang. So much fun and so pretty. I can’t believe we’d never hiked that one before.
It’s an interesting hike because you hike up the canyon on one side and than down the other. there are twists and turn and than the hike down, there are ledges and drop offs and even one place where we had to spider accross. wow.
that night my parents and I (the only ones from the Nott caln to go) stayed one more night while the rest in our group went home.
Mom had brought a Happy birthday banner and pin the tail on the donky. It was a lot of fun. we had a great dinner that night. Chicken, mashed potatos, and stuffing.
well on the 18th we came home and my sibblings were there with more things for me (kind of funny becase I for the life of me couldn’t figure out what I wanted).
Mary and Anna gave me the Teenage mutant Ninja Turtles movie. the new animated one.
Adam game me a cooler, the movie, Exploreres, and a fan.
Later that night Rory and Bridgett came over and gave me the movie Iron Man and a storm trooper helmet. oh that’s right you heard me right. a storm trooper helmet. it’s freakn’ awesome.
well that was my birthday.

at lunch today I was asked what I do for fun. after some time thinking about something other than fire I was left speachless. I realized I don’t really do anything. man that’s lame.
Than they asked what I do when I hang out with my friends. Well most of my friends are married, so we sit around and watch the tv. I realized I’m to a point where Death, Marriage, and school are taking my frineds by storm.
So that being the case I realized I probably should either join them or run from all three all together.
. . .
. . .
I’m putting my running shoes on right now.
being sick and yet having some fun

Well This weekend started off all wrong but ended good, in an odd sort of way.
See I was all excited to head out to a cabin with my cousins. one thing failed after another and we wound up just spending the night on the provo springville border at Zach’s place. Now you might thing this was a turn for the worst but it really was a lot of fun.
We stayed up late (about midnight. I know, we’re kind of lame) watching “It’s always sunny in Phili” and a new show that zach introduced to me, “The big Band theroy.”
Well on friday I started to get a little sick and as the weekend went on, the sickness got worse and worse. Firday night I was talking like a 14 year old boy again. voice cracking and not being able to sing were the two major signs that I was loosing my voice.
Well monday rolled around, and I was coughing up a storm. I didn’t go to work due to my illness, however this was the perfect time to catch up on some “Big Band Theory” episodes. I have officially watched every episode ever broadcasted.
mind you, this is a show for nerds. the terms they use are accurate, the complaints that most of them have with real life, are valid, and yet I find myself relating to them.
on a side note, I switched over to AT&T and got a real iPhone. holy crap, the GPS and 3G connection make this thing more than just a phone. My mom even Oooed and Awed over the fact that I can now drive and blog at the same time. (no I have not actually nor do I ever plan on doing that),
Not Digital, Not Yet
Monday, September 15th, 2008 | Uncategorized | 5 Comments
On Saturday, Hayley and I saw the movie Get Smart. I’m aware it’s been out for a while, but see I grew up on get smart, and watching the comercials, Steve Correl is no Max Smart. so I saw it and tried to keep an open mind.
well I’ve got one word of advice for Hollywood, Don’t go Digital!
Get smart was filmed on a glorified sitcom high def camera and frankly, it looked it.
2 major problems I see, they shot it in 30 fps it looked like and than tried to down convert to 24 to try to keep high res frams, however, it looks cheesy! especially the darks.
I’m not saying Digital isn’t inevitable, because I know, the whole world is going that way, it’s cheeper, easier, and in many cases harder to screw up. but that’s just it, it’s easier to make movies now than ever before. Being so easy we have absolute crap coming out of hollywood. The good movies seem to come from Indy film makers (good for you).
So why am I ranting about digital (becaue is keep touching this issue than taking tangets)? because digital is what us low end people use, becasue we can’t afford 32mm film, let alone the camera, we can’t afford to even develop said film. However you can! keep doing it. Digital isn’t ready for the big screen, it still looks bad.
Unless this is a sign that hollywood uses digital on films that they just don’t care about, than by all means just let us know, we’ll avoid them!
It’s just frustrating to pay for a movie ticket and than get made for TV quality movies.
Please up the annie on this one please!

It’s a rare joy to play infront of a crowd. There’s this excitment that comes with a crowd cheering for you as you play to your little hearts content.
Wed, Hayley Haws through a concert for her guitar students for a singles ward activity. all in all, it was awesome and fun.
here are some pics.
Warranty?
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 | Rants | No Comments
So I had some car issues. a few things had broken or come loose. so I did what a good client should do and I called a head of time to set an appointment for me to drop off my car.
so 9 am rolls around and It’s time for me to drop off my car. I informed the dealership that i had class that night and needed it back. He re-assured me that the car would be done in the early afternoon.
Also, all the problems were covered under my warranty except an oil change.
well 3 rolls around and I decided to call up and ask how far along my car is. the man on the other side tells me they haven’t even looked at it yet. I reminded him that the appointment was at 9 am. he said they were busy. mind you there were 2 other cars there besides mine. and mine was supposed to be the first one in.
I show up at 4:30 and wind up having to wait till 6:30 till they’re done. also, they decided some of my repairs were not covered under the warranty.
this was the tire well. they said that if it breaks loose they’ll cover it but if it grinds against my tire they won’t any more.
wow, so $200 dollars later I leave the dealership only to find the tire well was not put on properly. it’s missing screws and was folded, yes folded, at the base of the front.
a phone call to them this morning reveled that i can set an appointment to bring it in some other time.
